In middle of ECGS bushing change....

    Is this much play in the ring normal? Did I bend it getting the CV out?

    Swapped my bushing a few weeks ago. Mine looked about like that too.

    Thanks! It went right back and seems fine after a test drive.

    FYI to others doing the bushing in the future: I had to file down the edges of the ECGS bearing pulley tool to get it to fit behind the bearing.

    They are supposed to have play so that they can squeeze down into gear bore and snap out into place. That is what holds your CV axles in place is the outward pressure not inward pressure.. Just so you guys know ;)..
