Looking for a good mechanic in Moab. The wife and I are on the way home from Texas to Montana after returning from deployment and did some off-roading and something is broken in the rear can’t narrow it down right now but limped out over 10 miles. It is a clicking noise in the rear end only when power is not applied. Pretty sure a bearing (needle or wheel) can’t seem to get a side it is on though just made it back to civilization so need a beer and then go look at it in the parking lot. Any help is greatly appreciated! Amazing day and wonderful scenery!

We are in Moab. Finding a place to work on 4x4 will not be hard. These guys are AAA approved. I lived not to far from Moab any of my repars were done in Grand junction Colorado Good Luck!

    Address

    Arches Repair Center
    1160 South Highway 191
    Moab, UT 84532

    Phone
    (435) 259-4959

If they are not able to help. Metric Offroad in Grand Junction Colorado would be a good place, But sounds like you would need to have it towed to them.

I was just down there and can say the guys at Dixie's were very professional and helpful even when dealing with someone like me lol
I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Well, sorry for the delay went to Arches repair center had the truck looked at under 30 minutes great mechanics! Shop rates are good paid for half an hour and the cost was mostly just my ego as it was a tab on the fuel tank rubbing on the driveline! So we paid the bill met a great mechanic had a wonderful talk and went on our way! Was an amazing trip though highly recommend.
