Just moved to the west coast this week and drove about 45 min for an In n out and I also lost a rear left hub in the mix(new wheels ready for tires) and the whole experience was amazing. And that's from a right coaster

In N Out is the best. Animal style double double with chopped chili peppers and animal style fries. I just gained 5 lbs just thinking about it.

It's a matter of what you are craving at the time. I'd have to vote for In N Out for the burger but love the chicken basket at Whataburger. But this is hard to judge since I've never been to a place that had both in the same city. Now with that said I've never been at a Whataburger drive thru which was packed, In-N-Out on the other hand is always busy. Right now it doesn't matter since Hawaii doesn't have either not even a Sonic.

you guys are insane..double meat & cheese with jalapenos at Whataburger would blow away an in/out. the flavor is better, and it is way less greasy.

i do like in/out, but first stop when i visit my parents is Whataburger. in-out french fries SUCK!
