I've been doing research on what I should get a new vehicle. Ever since a lifted black 2nd gen drove by my work I've been in love with taco's. I don't currently have one but I'm on the hunt and researching like crazy on them, like I do for any vehicle. I have a fairly long car history, I have been working on cars since I was 8 helping my dad do tune up's on his cars. I currently drive a 1995 nissan 240sx that I built up and love but I think I am ready to move on, onto a newer vehicle :D

here is a pic of my current car

Well, you came to the place that'll tell you to get a Tacoma, lol. I wouldn't trade mine for anything. I've got the double cab long bed so it serves all my, kid/family/lumber hauling needs, looks awesome and will go anywhere! You can't go wrong....unless you get a regular cab short bed...those just look silly. ;)

Trust me I feel the same way, not to mention I don't fit well in single cab trucks(6'3" 270lbs) I am looking for a doublecab 4x4 but they are harder to find then I thought they would be. I live in the Houston, TX area and there is only about 2 for sale at a time that aren't practically brand new and right under or around $30k.

AREN'T brand new and they want 30k? I paid 31 for my DCLB sport SR5 just for reference. It had 7 miles on it. And yes, welcome, although if you want to keep your wallet padded I'd steer clear of the site, mods really are contagious, oh and also chris4x4 (moderator) hates spiders. :)
