So I drive about 600-700 miles a week to work, almost all highway miles.

Hit 10k miles last week, and I swear on the 10,000th mile, my truck started making some odd noises.

The noise is coming from behind the passenger seat somewhere. It jingles and rattles like a loose screw or something, but I cannot find what it may be. This happens nearly the whole time on the highway, and less frequently around town.

In addition to the jingle, my alignment seems to be pulling to the left. Also, my rear suspension is making a creaking noise around 5 mph and under.

I'm bringing the truck in for scheduled maintenance on Friday, but I'm curious if anyone else has experienced something similar, and what it may be.

Any clear and obvious places I should be looking for this noise? Any ideas what may be causing the other issues?

Hoping the service department can help me out, this noise is driving me mad!

I was hearing some odd noises recently all related to my spare tire the first time it wasn't tightened enough in the cradle and it sounded like a squeaky leaf spring the second was the tech that did the last service on my truck left my spare tire chain hanging and it was rattling so I had to tie it down.

Appreciate the reply. I will be sure to check those potential issues regarding the spare. Thanks!

Check the headrest. I had a similar noise issue, I was sure the noise was under the truck, turns out, it was the headrest. I pulled the headrest spokes apart just a bit to correct the noise issue.

After almost three years, I just found the seat belt retainer clips in the rear that solved a noise issue for me. I feel sorta' silly.

I had a similar issue with a similar sound coming from the same location. It was super cheesy for me. I had a heavy steel knife in the center console that was rubbing/ slightly hitting the metal lug nut lock. They were both on the aftermarket tray you can buy for the upper section of the console. It was driving m crazy for like a week until one day at a red light I really started to listen were the noise was coming from. As soon as I separated them no more noise.
    Hope it helps.

Issue resolved. It was the spare tire chain. I taped it up real good and had a quiet 70 mile commute today.

    Appreciate the help everyone!
