This is your best bet for quick/cheap power.

Take "inexpensive" out of the equation and get a supercharger, the part of you that wants to increase horsepower will be very satisfied.

The fiscally responsible part of you might regret it though.

Again, there is really nothing other than boost that will give you moar power. It's all just looks/noise for the most part.

$/HP range doesn't really work unless you build your engine internals, and even THAT is expensive. Engine swap an LS1 FTW

:annoyed: Not what you want to hear- you can change the intake out and the exhaust. These things allow the engine to breath better and it will. It will make more delightful noise in the process but in the end it only gives you small gains in the higher RPM range...and what you have is a truck and you want those gains down low where they can be enjoyed. There is no magic chip. It is going to take coin to get HP. For $300 you can switch all your drive line and engine to Redline synthetic lubricants- it will reduce the friction loss through the drive train and get more of your HP to the ground-more noticeable if you have a manual transmission.

just .02 cents worth of opinion.

TRD exhaust will gain you 8hp at peak RPM (not usable) for about $500.

Your best bet for low cost is light weighting. Lighter wheels, lighter tires. Remove the heavy hitch if you don't tow. Ect.

But as others mentioned the only real power upgrade is to go with the blower. Even then it will leave you wanting more.

URD maf sensor calibrator and wiring harness adapter is $510.
I'd trust that to give you more power, although I don't have it.
URD can make tacos go real quick!
