So I finally had the time to take a good look at this mounting plate. At first I had no idea how this thing was suppose to work. I tried prying it off the bottom and it was extremely tight. To the point that I thought I was going to break something. So I decided to unbolt it. The "bolts" kept spinning so it was a little difficult but I managed. After the nuts came off I then took out the small screws that held the mounting brackets and bolts/pins to the fridge. After I got one off I realized the problem right away. It is suppose to be a quick release system but the brackets that hold the bolts/pins are way too tight. I had to jam a screw driver into the mounting bracket just to get them out. I tweaked them a bit with a pair of needle nose and pliers so that they weren't as tight. Put everything back together and I can now can pop the fridge off the plate without feeling like I'm going to break something.

    Here's some pics

Top is factory, bottom is what I tweaked them to. The brackets were way too tight to work effectively. Just keep popping the mounting plate on and off and keep tweaking the mounting brackets until you get a good tight hold without feeling like you're going to rip the fridge apart when pulling it off.

Now that I've got this plate figured out I think I'm definitely going to incorporate it into building my own fridge slide.

ah perfect! i still havent had a chance to look yet, so thanks for doing all the work first! glad to know its actually usable with a little fine tuning! im planning on eventually building a slide with it as well, but i have another plan i want to try first.

Yes, that's one of my main worries.

The lows will be in the 20s and 30s... So probably won't be doing it this time.

Set up my thermometer.. I like it with the dual displays. I added a little divider to see if i can get the dual Temps working well. Might have to make a basket type thing just for the top half/fridge area since it seems like there's a lot of cold coming from the sides.

It's currently cooling down to - 2 per the control panel and so far the bottom is at - 1 and the upper half of the main compartment is at 13

Left the fridge at a set point of -2 overnight with the divider in (1/2" thick styrofoam insulation about 4" under the max fill line with 1/2" gap between it and the walls, and also made little walls above that, just propping it up on the basket thing thats in there and still staying below the max fill line). The display on the fridge shows 00 and the thermometer is reading 11 in the bottom and 22 up top. So the divider seems to be messing with the thermostat.

As soon as I removed it, it fired up and started dropping the temp. Its plugged into 120v and is on max.

    The research continues.

It bumped up to 13 at the bottom after I had it open to pull out the divider, and is now already back down to 5 and dropping, so the fridge clearly did not like the divider.

But I threw the probe into the small compartment by the light and that temp is holding steady at 27.

Ah, the angle of the picture is deceiving. It looks smaller. I thought you were the first to post a picture of a 41L model.

That looks pretty cool. Where did you find it?

I'm planning on running 14G wiring too...would that be enough to handle the fridge without any issues?
