I've noticed a good amount of Tacomas in my area, (Greenville, IN) any members on here from around Louisville/New Albany/Coyrdon? It would be cool if we could get a small/medium group together and go out to one of the Off-Road parks in the area after the first of the year.

I'm originally from the Floyds Knobs area, and now live in Mt Washington Ky. We have a few from the area that post in the "official Central Kentucky Thread". You can keep up with the latest happenings there. I was out playing around on the old "Flower Gap" trail near Borden over the weekend. Not much of a 4wd trail now, just 2-track gravel road, but back in the day.....it was one hell of a popular trail! I'm in the middle of a couple surgeries, but will be back to 100% by 1st of Feb. Stay in touch and I'm sure we can get something stirred up!

Glad to hear your making a quick recovery! I'll head over to that thread and stake my claim there. once the weather turns warm again we can try to get something together.

I'm hoping to get something brewing even before warm weather. Personally, I like 4 wheelin' on frozen ground more than I do slopping around in spring mud and water. Gotta pick your spots when wheelin' in winter....(ie stay off iced over water, etc) But anyway....I have relatives in the Lanesville/Corydon area that go to Badlands, Redbird, and Lynnville quite a lot.

I've been out to Lynnville with a buddy of mine a few times, not with the taco though. He has a big ass 89' F-150 running 37'' iroks. Some of the mud holes out there would swallow a stock taco whole!

I used to race dirt bikes. Lynnville was the site for a National endure for years (Black Coal National) and later on we ran a National Hare Scrambles there. Haven't been there in a truck.

Weird, my buddy also raced dirt bikes there, I don't think he did the national races, but some of the other races held there. Small world!

I'm originally from the Floyds Knobs area, but lived many years not too far south of you, near Charlestown. We live in Kentucky now, but spend a LOT of time in Indiana. Once it warms up a bit, we'll be planning trips to Interlake, Redbird, and probably Badlands. A few friends live in Southern Indiana, and they'll be a part of the plan! I'll let you know when there's anything on the horizon and maybe you can join up with us. Be glad to have ya!

We'd make a good group, with all stock trucks we wouldn't have to worry about one truck being left behind because its not cape able enough to get over an obstacle.
EDIT: HOLD UP, just looked at quicksands profile, not exactly stock. Lol it's still early :) running on a 32 ounce mtn dew, not exactly optimal.

Mine isn't stock any longer, but I've owned 17 different 4wds over the years (driving 42 years now) I'm NOT destroying this one. I'm sure there's people in stock trucks that are willing to tackle things I'll drive around. (especially deep water/mud)

Hopefully will be getting it put on here in the next couple weeks. Waiting on my brother to get moved into his new place so I have a dry place do do it. Got a whole list of stuff I've been waiting to do.
Put the guard on, Oil change, Fix the squeaky blower motor, Secondary air filter delete.... Good news is he should be closing before the end of the month :D
