I'm interested for sure. Planning on simple easy trails or something more difficult? I've never been. Had a good time Last weekend despite the lack of organization @Bluegrass Taco I'm glad you came up.

No doubt I'll be sticking to things than aren't extremely tough.....I'm gonna be babying it until I get sliders on the truck at least. Not a fan of body damage!

I really enjoyed the trip. Best part was meeting a lot of people who were just names until I had a face to put with 'em! It was sort of unorganized, but that just added to the fun!

Last time I was in Interlake was more than 20 years ago....and I was on a dirt bike.....We used to run Hare Scrambles on the same property. This will be like starting over! No real knowledge of the ground other than on 2 wheels.

Right at the moment, I'm favoring the 10th of September, but leaving it open for a bit until I hear from a few friends further down in Kentucky. Badlands was just too far for them for a 1 day trip. Interlake is about 2/3 hours closer for them. Trying to include as many as I can. I LOVE watching a diverse group. Sunday was about as diverse as it gets!

    Hope you get to go!

I vote for the 24th. Should be a bit cooler. Still working on my maintence list so no clue if I'll be ready by then; damn thing keeps growing. Just discovered a new axle seal leak yesterday :censored:.

So far, you're the first to express a certain date. So you may win by default! It was 72 degrees @ Badlands this past Sunday....And VERY dusty. They haven't had rain in a month. We drove out of a monsoon about 30 miles before we got there. There were 12 Toyota's in our group. (6 FJ's, 4 Tacoma's, A Tundra and a 4Runner) + some of those brand X kinda vehicles....

    Time for a 2016 Taco!

I got pre-approved for a car loan yesterday. A 2nd gen is in my future but likely a 2wd flavor.

Edit: keeping the 1st gen of course.

There's a sweet 2012 on a car lot near here....DB lift, 35's, sliders, etc....Speedway blue. Looks really good. There wouldn't be a mall parking lot you couldn't own with this!

Pick the weekend and Ill be there... Interlake is very tame as long as it doesn't rain for a solid week. But I'll gladly tag along for a joy ride :) dibs in the back of the pack haha

Looks like 17th or 24th.....I was sorta favoring the 10th, but EVERYONE who's interested in going that has a preference want's the 24th. I MIGHT be involved in a camp out for a group of kids from our church on the 23/24. Not sure yet. (Wife hasn't officially given me my opinion on that yet)

I like being at the back too. It's more fun to watch others than it is to do this shit myself! Plus, everyone else can find and identify the deep holes and such!

OK...Date is set. Several people who want to come along cannot attend on the 10th. My work schedule now precludes the 24th. So.....September 17th it is! Be there! I'll post again here, and quite a bit more on the "Official Central Kentucky Thread" in Midwest forum. Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the 17th!

Interlake trip on the 17th just blew up. Gotta cancel. Work schedule changed. Another run is planned for 2 weeks after that. I will pass along details as soon as I can.

Take a look in the "Official Central Kentucky Thread". Starting a quick throw together trip to Redbird (in Indiana) on April 1st if I can get any interest. Post here or there if you'd like to go along!
