Should be leaving the 2nd or 3rd. Only plans I have are to hit the trojan horse in btown for a double cheeseburger and a plate of fried veggies. :p
    And of course....A cold beer.

Hey guys, nice to see more people from Indiana with their Tacomas.
Would be cool to schedule a trip to Badlands or some other off-road destination since when I went to Badlands last week it was just all Jeeps and ATV's (not that there's anything worong with that but it would be nice to have fellow Tacoma owners to off-road with). My Taco is pretty much all stock for now but it still did great as long as I was careful.

I'm in my own area. I think I am the only member even near where I live. Most active people seem to be near the Badlands, Chicago, or Louisville, Evansville area.

    I think your right.
Probably another thing is besides those couple of places to get off road, there is not a whole lot going on up here. Meaning people are buying tacomas for other reasons than modding (farming, dd, and stuff).
Ive been driving in a 70 mile radius and I seriously can't find anyplace other than some gravel roads and a few small parks. Although "Chain-o-lakes just north of columbia city was rather nice.

^^^This. With everyone so few and far between its hard to get together enough to even know others beyond a happenstance meeting on the trail.

Columbus/bloomington bound in a few hours.
So far 1600 miles on this trip and still have to make it back to South Carolina.
All this with an upper femoral, type 3 hip fracture that incurred on may 2nd.
Just now in july was allowed to start putting 50% weight on it.
    3 more months of healing.

TTORA has a trail there, or did. Not sure whats happened. There was a shit ton of drama when I joined in, and kinda turned me off. I'd love to have a close nit group of guys to meet up with, bounce idea's off of, help wrench, but we are all spread out. I can be in Cincy in about 45 minutes. Indy is about 1hr, depending on the location.

I'll be making the trek again for the thxgiving holidays to visit the folks and grandmother.
I spent 3 weeks in july after fracturing my upper femur in may. It was pinned at the time and the drive really wasnt to bad. Just stopped a bit more to hobble around at rest stops on the way to get the blood flowing.

Anyway. Avascular necrosis set in the ball of the femur and it died anyway. Had a full hip replacement mid aug so this will be my first long haul since the replacement.
Hitting columbus, bloomington, spencer then on up to columbia city.
Probably do some wheeling around the columbus/bloomington area as there really is no place to wheel farther north.

moto, if I didn't have plans this weekend I would totally be in.

Matic, do you know what dates you will be around Bloomington? I will be gone for some days around Thanksgiving but I'd be down to wheel with you.

Most likely the 21-23 or 24th. I usually stay with a buddy in vandalia for a couple days to catch up on things, then head up to my parents from there.
Sometimes I stop in on the way back down south but with thxgiving being so close to the weekend thats pushing it for me to be back at work sunday nite.
