    Back in the late '70's and early '80's the base commander @ Knox was a 4wd friendly. We got about a dozen weekends a year where they'd let us wheel on the tank trails in a couple areas. Pre Abrams days, but the M60's would chew up some mean mud holes! 38"'s and up....winches burnt up, and a lot of drive shafts snapped. Big fun!
