Oh hell no beer drinkin while in the taco.
I'm just worried about you guys gettin snow and my powertrax-no slip doesnt play friendly with anything but rocks. So plan is to bail here in sc on CHRISTmas day after a 12 hr shift and drive strait thru to btown. Stay all night and make it to my folks/gram on sunday for some gift giving.

What's up guys? I'm from Columbus.

I'm thinking of putting a 3" OME lift on my truck and 285's. Curious how many South Central folks have lifted rides. What type of lift and how do you like / issues?

Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately I'm travelling too so we'll probably miss each other. :( Watch the snow coming north and be safe.

It looks like you've got a 1st gen. How many miles do you have on the lift and how has it worked out for you?

I've been doing a bunch of reading here and TTORA and I really like the OME setup. I'm cautious of doing more damage than good by adding the lift. I know you get all the "problem" posts but I've seen 2nd gen guys with vibes, torn CV boots, and some front diff bearing issues. I'm hoping there's a larger majority that don't have problems.

    Thanks again.

Safe travels to you as well.
I think if I can get over the mountains up around asheville,nc I will be ok. Looks like it's clearing up a bit up your way.
    enjoy
I think I have about 5k miles on the lift. No weird behavior and after going from 31in tires to 33in, I really have only seen about a 2 mpg loss. Still get 18-19 combo city/hwy.
I hope I get to play in atleast a little bit of snow while i'm up home. I have yet to use my powertrax no slip locker in such conditions.
Alot of people go with the ome coils and 5100 billies. I just run my stock tokico trd shocks. I see no reason to buy 2 separate lifts.
Enjoy your holiday and be safe.

If I get out of here at 10am I wont be coming thru till 6pm. Then another 3.5 hrs to columbia city, ind.

I still have to mount my hi-lift to my toolbox when I get off work in the morning. And I guess I should probably start packing this evening.
Oh...and maybe do some Christmas shopping at the walmart there in columbus. :)
