    Any professionals in these fields? I’ll be retiring soon in the Air Force with 20+ years of experience in environmental health & safety, radiation safety officer. Currently have OSHA 10/30, Bachelors degree (IT management so not career-related), ASP (going for GSP soon).

    thoughts on my chances of landing a decent job/position?

    I think you will have your pick of jobs.

    Just be aware, you might not be doing what you trained to do.

    You have a higher education, it is often only what HR of companies care about.

    USA Jobs...If you want to go the civilian route you will have preference on a lot of jobs.

    Get on Linked In. I'm retired, permanently, yet I receive emails constantly from folks looking for older/experienced folks. Seems many companies are realizing today's youngsters aren't a value.
