I have two pieces of my M1 style mesh in raw steel available.

It is .063 Thick with 1/4" Diameter Holes 5/16" Stagger

Each piece measures 11"X32" - Plenty to do the main 2nd gen grill.

A lot.... You are better off doing it on a pre 2011 grill from parts geek...
For the satoshi mod it's just an easier choice & IMHO you get a better final result with the deeper profile.
