Alright, I'm looking for some very inexpensive mods for my 2017 DCSB. I know there have to be some out there.

What I'm looking at right now are gas struts to replace the hood stick, the bed rail ammo can, and the startup/screenoff image mods.. what other must have, easy on the budget, mods are out there?

If you're into cosmetic mods, @rrentrop makes some very nice vinyl inlays for the "TACOMA" on the tailgate, as well as the side badges and door sills. He has a few other items to offer as well.

I bought the kit from Redline Tuning but had to remove it when I put on my cold air intake :( The strut on the passenger side was making contact with the surround for the CAI air filter and would not let the hood close all the way. But I really like having them.

I second this. I purchased the black/reflective ones and I love the look.

Hmmm, I wonder what colors would look good on a magnetic gray. I'll go look at what he puts out.

What the heck is that black pad on the tailgate!? I thought it was a ford at first glance with a Tacoma sticker on it. LOL

That's part of the Super Rim styling kit from AirDesign. Check it out here.

Just found their website. Such poor photochop renditions of their product.

Just looking for cheap mods to keep me busy with the truck. I have some specific performance mods planned, but they are a few years down the road.

Here's a couple shots of the side of mine. I wasn't able to use the front bumper panel with their integrated LED lighting since I used the Slimline Hybrid Bumper from Southern Style Offroad.

For the startup/screenoff image all you need is a memory stick.

Body Armor steps, Fab Fours front bumper, Rigid light bar, 4 led light blocks, weathertech liners, UWS toolbox, tint, t-rex stealth grill, HID headlights, interior led light upgrade, Winjet tail lights
I just did all the interior, reverse, and license plate lights in LED. Costs about $25 and makes a huge difference.
I also went with HID headlights and LED fog lights. That totaled to about $65.
Windows tint- I live in the south- it is necessary here. That runs around $200 for ceramic tint.

Just out of curiosity. Why did you change the licence plate lights?

Any parts list for all the different LED's for the interior, or did you just mix and match?
