I had a hunch there wasnt going to be any foam gasket from the pictures on Amazon.... really no big deal, i hopped on the motorcycle and took a nice evening ride to the hardware store and get 2 17 foot rolls for 4 bucks. Not a big deal.

I did not do any sound deading in the doors, but holly bejezus, the rear sounds SOOO much better now. Those stock rear speakers had the smallest magnets i have ever seen. Literally the woofer (which is all the rear has) magnet is the size of the small midrage of the 3 way rear speakers i just put in.... thats SAD.

According to their website they manufacturer in both the US and Vietnam. Not sure where these ones came from exactly.

Hey guys, when insulating the doors, do you apply sound deadening inside the door on the exterior side or just behind the door panel? I don't care about the radio, I'd like a quieter ride.

Would you happen to know, or could you measure, the impedance of the stock speakers you removed from the truck?

attach it to as much painted sheet metal as possible w/o
    interfering with moving mechanisms

if you have more deadener, stick it on the plastics too, but it is the sheet metal
that reflects (and creates it's own) noise and vibrations

Our next group buy will happen very shortly, Just currently trying to get a good estimate of how many units TW will eat up this time. Last time it went about 2x what we expected. Will also have speaker adapters, and a whole bunch of fun things coming shortly

Same here, also wouldnt mind seeing some pics of where the sound deadening was applied. And was that one roll enough, $60 seems dirt cheap

From what I've read you need like 3-4 rolls I think for most brands

    Thanks Bro!

I don't want to assume all brands cover the same area and that would blow the $200 budget on deadening alone. Thanks anyway Bro

well for what its worth, Shok deadener is 80mill and covers 40SQ feet @ under $130. if you only apply it to the MOST needed areas and not full coverage you can get the back wall done, and all 4 doors inner and outer skin
