I want to call his bluff on the gas tax...something isn't right, its like this on my buyer's order...

    Total Taxable Amount - 25250
    Sales Tax NJ (7%) - 1767.50
    State of NJ Tire Tax - 7.50 - http://www.nj.gov/treasury/taxation/tirefee.shtml
NJ Supplementary Titling Fee - 109.90
    Documentary Fees - 239.00
    Registration Title Fee - 351.50

    Total 27,725.40

Does this look right to anyone?

Well hopefully they enjoy my coolant leaking vehicle trade in!

Make sure your bottom line is the good deal you want. They manipulate numbers all they can on paperwork!! My bottom line on the invoice didn't even match the paperwork they sent to the state or to me at home. Almost called them out on it but didn't see the point!! The same number can be added to one side and subtracted to the other and have the same outcome.

OTD price was the only price I worried about with them.

Go on-line and search the inventory of Toyota dealers within 150 miles of you. E-mail and ask for a detailed out-the-door quote. I did this when I bought my 09 Access. My taco had a sticker of $22,084 My local dealer had given me a "bottom line" price of $21,300. On a Wednesday afternoon at 3:30, I called my local salesperson and left a message that I had found the exact same truck 120 miles away at a price of $20,050. I told her I was going to buy a truck no later than Saturday - if she could match their price, I would buy it from her - if not, I would drive 120 miles and save over $1000. Less than 30 minutes later I got a call from her saying they would match it! I was at the dealership at 5:30 - the truck was ready to go. It is a buyer's market!

Damn, your new Taco is frozen, and my new Taco (09 Prerunner) has pollen on it from the mild FL weather! I have yet to post pics...congrats on your new purchase!
