    So...
I've got this nasty clunk when going over dips. not bumps, just dips. I have inspected literally everything as has the local dealership and we haven't found a single idea. anyone have any ideas? Only happens when the wheels are parallel. Totally out of ideas at this point. This is a bone stock 2019 TRD Sport

In the video its when the truck is on the downside of the speed bumps.
let me know what ideas you guys have!

Also curious - had this happen to me in stock ‘18 OR when going over a bump and I thought I smashed something.

Mine does this once over speed humps and then no more until it sits… yours seems to do it over every hump…. Good luck.

yeah man its crazy. Brought it to the dealership and they couldnt figure it out. They originally thought it was the strut mounts. we replaced those and the sound is still here.

Following. Mine does the same thing. First time I hit a speed bump every day, it clunks, then its fine until it sits again. Sounds like its coming from the front drivers side.

    Enough for now
    Check your radiator mount bushings.

Or TRD skid plate if you have one.

Mine did this drove me nuts. Had in the shop several times they went on a 12 mile drive and changed the shocks and mounts in front. Noise went away for about 4000 miles then retuned. I bought new pro shocks all around with top mounts. Corporate got involved, they asked what I wanted, asked for an extended warranty 8 year 125k warranty N/C. Has not returned been years now.

I had a noise under compression and when I installed Bilstien 8100s, it went away.
I noticed one top rubber spring isolator seat was not in the same position as the other.

Almost sounds like spring binding. But usually get that with spacer lift. The front skid plate can sound similar if not tightened enough. Hard to tell in your video though. I'd start throwing wrenches in and checking tightness. Only Take a few min

    The new shocks fixed it?

Are you sure it’s not the driveshaft making the noise . I have seen a few videos that they explain that the drive shaft gets out of alignment and has space to move and makes a clunk . Solution was to grease the zerks if that doesn’t work then remove and grease at connection .

i checked the u-joints and everything seems fine honestly. What is bizarre to me is that it only makes this clunk noise when the front end is very compressed. speed bumps don't do anything and neither do pot holes. Its only dips like in the first video.

Mine started after a 2in lift. I always thought it was the new SPC UCA’s but perhaps it’s something else. You may be on to something there

i listened to one video on my phone and the other on my computer and the higher-pitched ding that you hear in the clunk is nearly identical. It would make sense that it wouldn't make the noise unless it's super compressed because its not moving that much

My truck does this over a speed bump but not every time. Just occasionally and never more than once .( I travel over 4 in a row and it will do the first one but not the other 3) and only on the down side not going up.
