I have a 2010 tacoma access cab. Does anyone have any pics of their rear facing infant seat installed in the back seat of the access cab? I think it can be done. I tried installing a old graco seat I had lying around but the fit was really tight. Im having a kid soon and need to get a new infant seat.
    Thanks

It can be done for sure. I don't have any rear facing both of mine are front facing. But our trucks have a great system on the passenger side for the other safety belt. The passenger may be a lil uncomfortable tho.

Safer how?? They wouldn't install the seat anchors or directions for installing the seat if it didn't meet all the same national safety standards.
I used a Britax Marathon infant seat and an Evenflo booster seat in my AC without issues. I gotta look for photos tho. Gimmie a while.

My 2001 owners manual shows how to do it.
    Have the manual?
