INFERNO in the Limited??

My dealer is confused, now so am I. They have gone back and forth on wether the Limited would be available in Inferno. I initially thought no, but the dealer said "maybe, they think"!?!? While waiting on them to confirm, I thought I'd ask the experts!!!

 

There is a 2016 Limited Tundra in Inferno sitting at my local dealership. So if they make them in the 2016 Tundra I see no reason why the Tacoma would not be available that way too.

 

He's talking about the limited trim itself. The inferno is going to be a 2016 color but he doesn't know if that's just exclusive to the TRDs or not.

 

He asked if Inferno was available on the 2016 limited Tacoma. I simply said that it was available on a 2016 limited Tundra. So I assume it would also be available on the 2016 limited Tacoma.

 

That's what I just said.

 

Only Quicksand is listed as a trim specific color for the Tacoma.

 

If this could help, on the Canadian Order Sheet posted here a few days ago, Inferno seems reserved to TRD Sport ou Off-road. Colors for limited are: Alpine White, Silver Sky Metallic, Magnetic Grey Metallic, Black, Blazing Blue Metallic.

 

Work at Toyota as Porter and wanted a limited in Inferno, but dealer advised they are not building any Limited in Inferno

 

The Inferno color seems to be in low supply or high demand (or both). I just ordered my truck in that color and had very limited selection of options. Ended up with a Sport Access Cab 4x4, black interior with orange piping/threading. "My" truck comes with chrome tube step bumpers and glass breakage security, neither item was on my want list but were installed on the truck, wherever it is. They said it is about a month out. We shall see...
