yeah i've seen those. but i decided i wanted to take the letters off and spray paint them, which i think looks better and maybe even last longer? i don't know, leaving the sides of the letters uncolored just doesn't sit right with me. i'm weird...

I agree with you 100% I would've liked to of painted them myself , i've seen some guys have done it but I couldn't figure out how to get them off without possibly breaking things , and the pro grill was too expensive to mess up !! If you figure out how to take them off please let me know as I would like to paint mine.

I've been wanting a new 2017 in either magnetic gray or blazing blue... but this thread is making me reconsider...

I'm new. Love all the custom grills. Where do you get them? I'd like something like this:

That's a standard grille that's been painted or plasti dipped.

Thanks. The more of these I see posted here the harder it is to find a favorite. What's the easiest way to get a custom grill? Apparently this one was simply modified from the original which I assume a body shop could do, or is their a place that sells new/custom ones? Just trying to figure out the options and which is best for the long term.

Something as simple as the grill pictured are very easy to do yourself! But if you are looking for a metal custom grill try googling these:
    Bay Area Metal Fabrication
    DB Customz
    Custom Car Grills
    Rigid Industries
    ENVE Grilles
    RAD Industries

I'm sure I forgot some, but those are some of the biggest names for custom grilles.

That's a DIY job. As @Lugnut22 posted, lots of options. But they come at a cost.

I added some metallic black vinyl to the hood, scoop, mirrors, and replaced the stock vinyl on the bed.
