That grill is super easy to remove if you wanted to oh say plasti dip it in the mean time. To be honest if you paint the grill black it looks pretty descent on the sport.

I have my "Inferno" taco back!!!

A month or so ago I detailed my taco, washed, clay bar, and waxed. I used a Meguiar's Carnauba wax and although it gave it a nice deep shine, it really muted the metal flake. So today I striped off the wax and put on a coat of Chemical Guys Jetseal and am happy to say the Inferno glow is back!!! This picture doesn't do it justice, but it looks great again!

Hey Guys and girls, got an invite from @ebbs15 to post up my most recent modification. I have a 2017 Inferno Sport, no lift. I had to remove the mud flaps because the driver side front was rubbing. Odd it was the only one. But it bugged me so I took them all off. Anyway, SCS Ray 10s, Limited Edition Brushed Copper wrapped with Nitto Ridge Grapplers 265/70r17.

    20170722_154411.jpg 20170722_151206.jpg 20170722_151149.jpg 20170722_155236.jpg 20170722_154719.jpg 20170722_124019.jpg 20170722_124008.jpg 20170722_124032.jpg

I'm also Sportin' a Bak Revolver X2 tonneau cover, Suntek CXP tint to match the rears, and Weathertech In Channel Vent Visors. Ultimately I want to do the grill and side mirrors. Then I might be done LOL.

Anywho, thanks for the invite @ebbs15 I'm sub'd here now too!

Just picked up a Rugged E-series hard tonneau on Craigslist. I really like the fitment, and look.

Long time 1st gen owner, just took a trip to the dealership a few nights ago in hopes of a quicksand...while one was suppose to arrive on the lot the next day I fell in love with the inferno instead. Trd OR 4wd auto and went from 0 to 400 miles just riding around town in my 4 days of ownership. Trynna keep that new smell in is hard with a sunroof.

Congrats on the new TRDOR. I did the same thing, went to the dealership wanting a Quicksand. They had the truck I wanted in Inferno, but located a Quicksand at a dealership a few hours away and were prepared to do a dealer swap. But the Inferno kept growing on me......

I have the same tonneau and I was wondering do you have an issue with the rails drooping inward? I've had some scratches/gouges onto the top plastic tailgate cap from them sitting too low.

Yeah you... you and those wheels. I had convinced myself that the stock wheels were fine, but you shattered my delusion.

No, but when I installed it, it definitely seemed like the very ends of the rails were bent downward, and for my taste, too much. It was definitely catching on the tailgate cap. I used a rubber mallet and bent them up just enough to make it work. It must be like a 1/8 of an inch clearance there now but the inside of the tailgate compresses the rubber seal enough that the water that gets in during a rain is minimal. I also have the Tacoma bed mat so if I have things back there the water tends to be under the mat rather than on top of it so I am content. I bought a tailgate seal but haven't installed it yet. Overall I like the tonneau cover a lot. When we go on vacation to the beach it's nice to be able to lock things up in there and keep them out of the rain.
