    I don't either, but in this case I've started calling it 'Burnt'.

    I'm a bit saddened that nobody welcomed me to the thread when I first posted :mad:

    Lol but seriously yeah about the tailgate letters. I dunno if I want to go with the raised letter look. My main concern is basically are the letters gonna fade or start cracking after a couple summers in the Arizona heat. I kinda like the look of painting the lower section of the tailgate black, and leaving the letters orange too. But, no idea how I would go about doing that :notsure:

    I can't talk about the extreme heat, but they do hold up for the extreme cold....was -38 the other day and well below -20 all week.... I've got the vinyl ones from @rrentrop.

    Oh, by the way.... WELCOME to TW and the Inferno thread....:thumbsup::kona::jellydance::taco::yay::wave::canada:

    Lol thanks good sir :cheers:

    I'll have to do a little research on these tailgate options.
    Another question I have. How do ppl dip the badges? Do you actually remove the entire badge, paint it, then put it back on? And if so, how do you make sure the badge goes back on in the right spot?
    Sorry for all the questions :anonymous:

    The front grill Toyota "Badge" just pulls off..., there are plastic clips on the back.... pinch them and out it comes..... Put it on the bench and Plasti-Dip that Mo-Fo....Yer good to go..! It just snaps right back in there..!

    You might want to remove the grille... it's easy-peasy... then you can see how to pull the Toyota emblem..!! No broken plastic that way..!

    Good luck my man..:thumbsup::canada:

    The tacoma and v6 badges, you use painters tape to create an outline before you remove them.

    Use fishing line and shimmy it behind the badge. Remove adhesive from badge by hand as possible. Use goo gone on everything else until clean. Careful not to remove the painters tape at any stage.

    Paint or plastidip badges. Apply 3m 1/4 inch adhesive to back off badges. Adhere badge to original location as best as possible using painters tape as a guide. Should be spot on when done.

    Mine was easy. Painted 4 coats gloss and 2 coats of clear. With all this talk of cold, might need to wait.

    Or you could just mask off the door, except for the badge, plasti the badge, remove masking and peel off overspray.
