Yea, had a three way trade set up with some members but it fell through. Goit a a guy in Colorado willing to ship me some for $300. Unless he's already sold them. Just would like to get at least $250 for my OEM tubes to lessen the blow.

 

I need to come up with an idea for retractable steps for my sliders. They're great at protecting my cab and cleaning the roof of my truck, but its a little difficult for my 5'2" wife to get in the truck. Either retractable or removable when I go wheeling. Doesn't help that I have a slight angle on my slidrsd too.

 

Cool, yea, I want sliders but damn, the cost. Especially if you are not gonna use them proper.

 

True but all mine have digs and scrapes .

I talked to Joe at @Mobtown Offroad about this briefly. I know there is a need for this. That is exactly how I would want mine. 20 degree angle but I want removable steps hoops.

I think I could probably fab something up with my friends who weld. Just need to weld a plate/tab on the bottom of the sliders to stop the step from swinging down further and have some sort of loose plastic clamp on the steps that go over the slider tube. I just don't have the time to sit at my buddy's shop and make diagrams and test fit all the time. A 2 year old and a 4 month old baby are robbing most of my time

Well, I have a computer and cadd software so let me know. I think I have a idea. I'll see if I can draft something up.

 

I like any kind of bodies of water. The fermented kind is best though.

 

I had the wheels and tires install today. 17 inch Ray 10s with cooper discoverer stt pro’s 265/70r17 and a ready lift two inch front one inch rear leveling kit.

I requested the white lettering out but the shop screwed up. They are swapping them around in the morning. I like the white lettering look.
