Yes received the plugs, installed them, drove for several days, howling noise gone now even with strong cross wind,:) drilled small drain hole in each. 20180326_184330.jpg 20180326_184142.jpg

yep, when I removed air dam off the Sport, howling started immediately, thankfully I also seen those posts and knew where to put plugs.

Is this howling only a thing for the sports who took off the air dam?

Yea, odd, mine doesn't howl. Unless it's a full moon. Oh wait, I think that's me.

That’s the way they’re making it sound to be. I’m not sure if just the sport has that air dam or if it’s on other vehicles though

I have an Off Road, and I have heard a howl like this 2 times while driving in the wind. It's not super loud, but it is noticeable. Not sure if it's from the LCA's or the door seals. Either way, kind of lame that a vehicle that costs this much has these stupid little issues. I need to see if my LCA's are plugged or not. I'm hoping they aren't so maybe I can solve the issue myself.

Oh, I got my Porter Cable heat gun the other night at Lowe's. Now I need some free time to go out and remove the vinyl

The early 2016 off roads also had the howling noise, Toyota has a T-SB fix. later models come already plugged. howled between 20-45 mph, nothing above. could hear even with radio on. Not worth my time going to dealer just to have plugs put in. I also have the 5 grease fittings on drive shaft u-joints that later models have only the two.

Mine was whistling, printed the T-SB and took it in (with a pile of other ones), got it fixed, no more whistling

    Cody,
Yea, I ordered one from Amazon and got it last week. It's a lot nicer than I expected. Porter Cable makes quality tools. I will have it for many years. Good luck, and post up the finished results!
