Went for a drive to The City of Rocks National Preserve. It was really crowded so we headed up into the National Forest. Found a bit of peace and quiet up there. My wife was a bit nervous taking it in some of these spots considering the Taco is so new we are still sporting dealer plates.

Thanks Rob! Yeah I like to figure out ways to do things myself, I like the challange. I’m a mod junkie, I have 5 motorcycle and can’t leave any of those alone either. Hell I’ve don’t stuff to my wife’s Kia Soul and she even ask/want me too. Lol

Buy the stock orange pieces from the TRD Sport from the dealer. It’s more than $100 though, unless you can find it used or someone to trade with.

Easy to buy these parts from any dealer. Some guys on the forum are even willing to trade their Inferno trim for Gunmetal. There is a thread on here just for that in the WTT section. But here are the links to the parts you can buy.

    Plus shipping of course.

I would say I have maybe less than 1/2 inch until I had a heart attack here. I've parked it in the garage this way before, but only after I wash it because I don't like to back it in to wash in the driveway. It has more room near the garage door when I back it in. Every time I park in the garage facing this way, Its always extremely close to hitting. I think tonight is the closest yet!

You considering doing anything with the chrome rings around the vents? I painted mine orange (satin paprika) and it turned out nice. Could also do them black if wanting to tone them down only.

There's a kit for the interior? I may be down to do that. As I've gotten older, I have found that I like chrome less and less

My wife and I bought an inferno SR5 4x4 DCSB a few weeks ago and I have been reading TW a lot since then. I have been looking at all of the DIY mods with color and kept thinking that satin paprika sounded familiar. It turns out I have had an affinity for this color for a while. It is the exact same paint I used to make my DIY jockey box a few years ago. I found the leftover paint and plan to use it to paint my DIY shovel mounts.

Nice! Welcome to the forum and the best damn color Taco there is thread! :hattip:

Funny you call it a jockey box. Never heard that term for one before. I like how you used an old Coleman (I believe) cooler too. My grandfather had one made of wood, lined with tin, and about 25' of an inner and outer section of coiled copper tubing inside. He used to call it his cold box. I bet a lot of people don't even know about these and how much nicer they are than a keg in a trash can full of ice. Of course you need to have air and that is an added expense. But the beer is always ice cold
