Get the OR .. same base price. Why waste all that money only on scoop and 17" wheels when ya can get better suspension (Bilstein shocks), Multi-terrain Select and Crawl-control features on OR.

What is the consensus on the black fender flares? Do most people like them or are they going to color match them at some point. I can't decide if I like the black or not.

I personally don't like the black exterior plastic in general. Doesn't take long for the sun to make it to look cheap.

Congrats on the Inferno OR. Lookin good!
I use the Armor All "Outlast" Trim and plastic restorer. Works awesome. Used it on my 08 Taco black bumpers and they look like new!

Yep... I personally like the black flares... and as you stated there are products out now that restores and protects any fading... I've heard other people say they are afraid of the fading flares but really I don't see it as an issue. For the money the OR with the tech, I would rather have the black flares than the hard suspension and fake scoop, just my own opinion. I would say anyone getting a Tacoma, especially the 3rd gen should be stoked!

Edit: BTW, I have an FJ and the black flares on this 7 year old rig are like show room condition, and she doesn't fit into the garage.

I love the black flairs. The Inferno color is by far my favorite, but I think it needs broken up a little bit. I really don't like the Inferno SR5 or Sport compared to the Off Road, it's just almost too Orange

From the pics I've seen the black flares look good. Goes well with the black accent wheels and off road styling.

I also like the black front bumper. The painted front bumper does not look great imo.

Now that the OR has body color mirrors and door handles...and has painted rear bumper available, I wouldn't consider the Sport between the 2.

How do you like the tonneau cover? Does it stick up any in the rear as some others I have seen have? Is it sealed for water leakage?
