Hmmmm, first pic I've posted since I removed the bed decals. Is it me or does it make the bed look longer?

Oh well, no matter. It's temporary. :transformer:

I followed this video. Remove all the screws & tabs, work your hand around the grille surround and pop it out, then you need to pop out the outer ring first, press the middle lever on the tab and gently work it back through the hole, repeat for remaining tabs to remove the actual grille.

    Keeping the trend going

    Hello All,

Just bought this beauty last month.

    I have already added...
    - Fuel Vectors ( might switch to the grey vectors)
    - Rough Country wheel to wheel nerf bars
    - tinted windows
    - took door badges off
    - matte black bedside decals and tailgate inserts
    - and my favorite... yeti bottle opener in bed

Question about the paint job... anybody else unhappy with the quality? I work in the auto industry and have owned many Toyota’s. I feel Toyota missed the mark on this paint job. Looks thin, orange peel and dirt in paint. When the sun shines on it, she looks awesome. When in the garage, you can really see it. Other than that, I love this truck.

Welcome to the forums. Nice truck. You liking the nerf bars? I'm debating on something more like steps like you have than the 5" nerf bars i had/have. I'll put them on one more time and might sell them if I still don't like.

Think the orange peel down low is intentional and haven't noticed any imperfections in my paint otherwise.

    I do like them.

Not talking about down below. I know that it is intentional, just like the texture in bumpers. I’m talking about the entire truck. I have worked for Toyota and I’m currently the Used Car Director at a Chevy/ Cadillac store. I buy, recon and remarket all makes and models. Disappointed with quality of paint on my inferno. Even the owner at the body shop I use said it’s poor quality from factory. Just wondering if anyone else has the same issue.

Hey man, thanks for coming over and introducing yourself. Welcome to the best damn color Taco there is thread! :hattip:

My paint is smooth as glass everywhere but the rockers. Sounds amiss.

Yea, we're not prejudiced! Very nice! I used to have a Tundra myself. 4Runner too. I'm very diverse.

Rocked a Taco for 8 years and this board is a lot more busy than the Tundra forum, so I’m mostly here still.

It’s crazy to see how many Tundra guys are former Taco guys. I could see a Taco again in my future. Loving the Tundra currently though. Only 3 weeks in and don’t mind the 14 mpg one bit when I put the hammer down and hear the 5.7 liter growl.

Life’s too short to be boring though. Love the inferno tacos and tundras!

Oh, and the wife reps Toyota as well in her ‘16 4Runner! Not inferno though - Black!
