When you (and the rest of us) die, we'll be buried in a plain, safe suit. Inferno is anything but safe. We don't do safe here.

    Sup Mike?
No, not needed. The OEM grill emblem area is the backing plate.

Well hell a Alabama fan here and I love inferno more than any red truck. I love my crimson but inferno is like red and orange all in one. Kinda gets old looking around you and seeing red vehicles everywhere. I wanted to be different.

Went to Tuscaloosa for a game rolling in with my orange truck, no regrets at all that’s for sure. Had a family member why the Auburn colored truck and I couldn’t do anything but smh and think to myself wait till you see it on a rainy cloudy day and tell me what color it is then lol. I love Alabama but red vehicles get old to me and my team of choice wouldn’t make me choose what color truck I wanted. All I had to do was put a Alabama decal on my window and that’s all she wrote. Like I’ve told people before even a Alabama fan can love the color orange. Inferno is probably the only orange vehicle I would ever own because all the other shade of oranges on the road is just not my cup of tea.

    Hey Mike,

Here's what I just posted to another guy that asked the same thing, and now I'm curious as hell to find out the answer.........he shot a pic of the sensor behind the emblem for me.

No, mines a 2017 without the TSS equipment.

So all that is mounted behind the OEM emblem? That's crazy. I thought it was a patch in the lower part of the grill. This is the first I've seen or heard of it being mounted there. I wonder if there are sensors that are visible from the front? They would be tiny, and could even be nearly invisible if they are behind plastic. My guess is, without doing any research, that the sensors detect metal like a true radar system, and are not visual sensors.

Maybe you could take that back assembly off to get a better idea?

Without any other information I would have to guess anything metal in front of that would interfere and might either not work or throw off the system.

I have to believe though there is a work around. What are guys doing with that sensor when they replace the OEM grill with an aftermarket like the Pro grill?
