I don't at the moment but I"lol be taking of my fender flares this weekend to trim for 315s so I can pull the bumper off and show you what is involved. It was a really easy install hardest part was taking bumper skin off.

Btw it is an SDHQ hidden winch bumper. Very strong and sturdy. Highly recommend. It has gotten me out of a few jambs.

Thanks, I looked at a different one last week.

I watched their video and saw they were cutting some metal... did you have to cut anything other than the plastic bumper part?

I really dont want to do any cutting unless its a part that I can replace easy.

(BTW, I am a ex-auto body tech, so I have all the tools to do any repairs to body, I just dont want to cut anything)

I've loved this color since I first saw it on a 2015 TRD Pro 4Runner. 2018 is the final release year for the Inferno color. Got a great deal on one at an end of the model year sale at my local dealership. I insisted on inferno with the premium package and after some searching they were able to find only one left in the northwest at a Seattle dealership and after two months of moding it's almost done. 20181013_120552.jpg 20181013_123936.jpg 20180925_124048.jpg 20180808_163539.jpg

Not a huge bug deflector fan but that one looks sharp on your truck. What brand is it?

Did some debadging tonight. These came off like butter.. barely used any goo gone. Heat gun on low helped. 3AD861CD-DDFA-43F2-A0DB-AF73403BD692.jpg3436D9D0-18FB-478F-A757-3405751BA6B0.jpgCBFBFCAB-D376-4C87-B194-55ACB82A6C58.jpg

I’m kicking around the idea of pulling mine off as well, did the glue separate from all of them?

The glue separated from the Tacoma badges super easy. The V6 on the tail gate was a bit more of a pain, although I’m not sure if I heat gunned it well enough. I basically wiggled letter by letter with heat in between until the foam broke from the plastic then worked on down to A. I made the mistake of putting too much force on the T trying to move all the other letters to break instead of one by one.. it caused the T to bend a bit at the connection to A.. gentle and slow is my recommendation. Its easy though.

Nice trick for getting those emblems off is the heat gun/hair dryer but use fishing line to seperate the glue from the paint. I just flossed it back and forth and worked the length of the emblem; helps to at least get the emblems off without breaking them

What micwillia said. A few passes with a heat gun (just enough to warm the glue a bit) then floss back and forth with fishing line while pulling along the door. The badge will come off and the glue tape will be left on the door which can then easily be pulled off with a little more heat from the heat gun.

OK, guys been a member on here since I purchased my '14 SR5 Taco but haven't been active lately, so Hi again. I was holding off on getting a 3rd gen for another year or so. But with Toyota not bringing back inferno the time has come sooner than I anticipated.

Here are the two that I am back and forth on.. I originally wanted the sport mainly for the hood scoop honestly. But after seeing the off road I may have changed my mind. The pro is 4x4 and a few more bucks but I love the black trim around the fenders and the more aggressive tire and wheels. I know that is something I could do down the line but I told myself I wasn't gonna go getting into anymore crazy mods this time around. I spent well around 10k on my 14 and I just don't want to go there again. 4x4 or 4x2 doesn't really matter to me as I live in Florida and do no off roading. So, since you all have had yours for a while, what do you all like out of these two?! Thanks for your time, looking forward to hearing from you!!

Get the sport if your not going off road...you won’t need anything the off-road offers...once you get it go on the buy/sell/trade part of tw and look for the fender swap thread...I’m sure someone would swap you black for color match
