I'm so glad you posted pics. I'm about to paint my dash using plasti-dip and wasn't sure how it would look painting all the chrome parts too. Looks good.
Though, how'd you go about painting the vent rings? is there a way to put them back in after snipping the backs?

Since you already mentioned snipping the backs of the vent rings, I’ll assume you know about the removal already. Be sure to scuff this chrome before painting, apply 2 light coats of paint followed by a 3rd heavier (medium) coat. Using the plastic rings from a 6pk of beer, I used a soldering iron to melt the plastic of the beer rings onto the snipped pegs on the backside of the vent rings. Hopefully, this makes sense. 389FE86F-ECC6-4D7B-8E1A-3F3E0E22404B.jpg

    2 things:
1- Anybody here have aftermarket tail lights? Want to see how they look before I buy.
2- Does anyone have the red MESO start button with their Inferno dash trim?

    Thanks!

Made some updates to the truck since last post:

    Rigid Industry Ditch Lights
    Blacked out emblems
Changed out the crappy spacer lift to a Toytech BOSS 2.0
And a few mods that you can't see: New shift knob (MT), LED break and F/R directional lights, Rain guards, Tonneau Cover, plastidipped the chrome end caps, and plastidipped wheels. Not much chrome left on the exterior

Currently sitting on Toytech BOSS 2.0 Lift Aluma series and 265/75/16 BFG K02's

Thank you. I’ll take that as a compliment. It’s definitely my dream set up. A few more things to do and I’ll be set.
