Isn't that why it came with factory tie-downs just below the bedrail? This is back when the bedrail flared out rather than in like they do now. Probably couldn't get a canopy clamp on the inside I'd guess.

When I bought my Inferno a few weeks ago my mom sent me this. Forgot my older brothers had an Orange Yota in the 90's. Does anyone remember what this color was called?

 

All jokes aside, why can't they make something like that today? Regular cab, 7.5' bed and tie down locations where you can easily get to them with a bed full of tree limbs, without tearing up your arms!

2016 just under 70k miles. TRD OR short bed, lifted, Relentless front bumper and sliders, BAMF bed rack. Im sure there's more, but that's the gist of it...

 

Finally put a lift on my 2018 along with new socks and shoes.

I haven’t posted a picture in awhile, so...

 

I was really torn about a topper vs. the bed rack and tent. I really wanted the RTT but I didn't want it to be to tall or an air dam. Your truck looks awesome as well.

It’s just me so the topper works well. I have a ground tent that works great for a base camp. If I had a family and the only way they would go out with me was a RTT then I would have 1.
I do love the topper though.

True. My sister had a Datsun pickup in that color with the tie-downs on the outside. It suffered a horrible rusted death from PA salt but that was cool truck!
