Inferno Thread

Looking rad! Getting the cutty-wutty out this weekend.

 

Satin Paprika rustoleum is the absolute closest I've ever gotten. It's basically inferno without the flake. You can kinda see it here in this pic, I painted my dash trim, center console trim and door trims with it, and it came out great! Since these parts never really see sunlight, it's damn near impossible to tell the difference. If anything else, I've been painting/wrapping/getting half my truck black. Inferno/black is an amazing combo.

 

Ahhh great idea to add some inferno to the interior. I've been trying to hunt down a stock bezel that color. What I don't get is they put that inferno color bezel in other color Tacomas besides the inferno Tacoma

 

Unfortunately, the stock trim that color isnt even inferno! My buddy with a silver sky had that "orange" interior, and I swapped it over to see how it looked, and it's not even close! It's more red than orange and it's not even Barcelona red.

 

Ya the interior doesn’t quite match the inferno color or any of the red trd meso goodies lol

Nice! I think I’ll paint that fair lead because it’s definitely bugging me now lol.

 

Do like 3 of 4 coats of that, and then some clear coat. Comes out pretty good!

 

Should we rename the thread paprika? Wish me luck repainting that fairlead!

 

"Paprika orange metallic" sounds way less intimidating but honestly just as cool

 

While not strictly a Tacoma…I think this Trader Joe’s pumpkin chocolate bomb qualifies as Inferno.

 

A little late to the party on the paint, but I searched the paint code (4XO) and found the spray paint color and a clear coat. A bit pricier than the Rustoleum, but it's a dead nuts match.

 

well shit I didn’t even think of that. On the plus side the paprika also feels like a perfect match once the clear coat went on.

 

Paprika is as close as I've seen without buying the paint code match. I was being a little OCD when I bought it. I do like it.

The Parprika paint worked out great. For some reason my sensitive ass camera can tell more of a difference than I can.

My camera does the same with my interior pieces. To the naked eye its so freakin close.

 

Did some more woods driving to try out the new bumper. This thing is wild!

 

So the black on the B&C pillars (doors)
Is stock? I was thinking P.O. had it done it along with the extra goodies.
Looks like they all have it?
Is it inferno paint under it?

 

It's Inferno underneath. I have a nick in mine. If you're thinking removal you may have some paint fade where the paint isn't covered. Not positive, but I've seen the warnings when peeling the bed labels off.
