That's a horrible idea. What time?
Had to look up the reference. It's been a while. And no. Dad was Ford Credit Dealer rep, and well liked. It was a very clean car for an apparently very good price. Why else would you get that car for a 16 year old new driver? That thing drank gas like some people drink beer.

Isn’t that the truth. I swear you’d see the gas tank needle drop a wee bit with every interstate on ramp run. And that was only to 60 back then.

Buddy of mine, his folks had a similar year (mid 70's) Country Squire LTD Wagon with the 460, that he and his brother dubbed, "The War Wagon", because you could weld some rebar to its windows and drive it through a zombie plague or a blockade on Manhattan Island... They couldn't make it from NYC to Lake George on a single tank; it got something like 8 mpg...

Found a pic if the truck and I hardly recognized it! The first haul, 12' boards in a 5.5' bed.

Reminds me of my first car, a 71 240Z. The stuff I got into that little car! From a full size screen door, to 12' boards like you, half hanging out the passenger window, and the rest hanging out of the rear hatch. Of course, I knew they had won the East Africa Safari, so I did a lot of off road with it, including Pikes Peak when it was still mostly dirt. Shouldn't complain about being unlucky, I'm still alive!

Dealership had the new orange on a Pro. I wanted to see it and compare the two. Limited sun, but this gives an idea.

That's crazy. The first picture the difference is night and day. The second, it almost looks like a bad glare is making the SO reflect on the Inferno. The third, almost no difference at all.

Cross post this onto the Solar Octane thread, they'll freak out

Ive seen it in person a couple of times now and it's basically just bright orange to me. It's like they took inferno and took all the other colors and the pearl affect out lol

If there's anyone with a 2nd Gen inferno pro that is looking to sell it, I would love to take it off your hands and give it a solid home  pic of my silver TX Pro for post20230104_152250.jpg
