I didn't know Toyota had that colour. Must be just for the Pro models? It looks like a flat gray. Or like Shadow said it looks a lot like primer haha.

I was thinking the same but it's just a wrap. http://www.truckinweb.com/features/1410_2015_toyota_tundra_tacoma_4runner_trd_pro_first_drive/

"The engineers drove identical TRD Pro trucks, except theirs had this badass-looking flat-gray wrap on them. We ordered ours in that color, and it was a no-go."

This... at the very least it'll protect you from ripping out a valve stem on a rock if you ever go offroad.

I don't like the look of the polished aluminum at all but they do serve a nice purpose. I'm thinking I'll be painting mine a flat black in the future to blend in.

That'd be great if you come up with something. Gonna be tough with the xtang bed there is a soft later of padding between the cover and the bed.

One nice improvement in the Pollock I installed this time-it callivrates to the ignition key rather than requiring a separate key. Pricier but nice.

One upgrade added today, drone remote starter. Pretty cool. Next up are heated seats and radio. I've installed them before but am leaving this one to a pro. Will post what I get done

Are your TRD stickers not in the same place or is it just camera angle? One looks way further forward then the other. Truck is awesome though, congrats.

Saw this was already mentioned after I posted, felt like a hater anyway. Sorry.

Not sure who makes the exhaust...as to sound. Not really noticeable on the freeway, some noise around town....salesman had the passangers rear window down and then it was a bit annoying...still a v6 so not the same rumble as a v8. But liveable....for the $$$ it costs and the very minor hp gain, put on the cool TRD tip and leave the stock stuff!

That's the same experience I've had with mine... I'd prefer stock exhaust or a flowmaster 40. Eitherway, this sounds like it's a failing stock exhaust on 10 year old truck. Loud, but not good.

Regarding the TRD exhaust, It does mellow out a good bit after about 5k miles. Much less annoying and more throaty now..

Really? I bought my truck at 15,000 so I never got to hear it in the early stages. It just seems too loud to be quiet and doesn't quite have a loud enough sound to seem good.

Then again, it might be because I've been spoiled with an amazing sounding car. I consider this to be a pretty good sound, although it's not my actual car, it is a very similar exhaust setup...

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5e1EAd2k3o&t=0m15s

So I get it... the TRD exhaust was never supposed to sound like a performance car, but I think in the end I would have rather just had stock if i couldn't get something better than TRD.

    Something like this....
