Have just ordered a Limited and was wondering how members like their new Limited. Also, what they don't like !. If you owned a Gen 2 do you notice any difference in the new 3.5 vs the 4.0 V-6. What about the ride ?

I love my Limited. I would purchase the model again if I had to. I came from a 2002 Tundra AC V8 and this truck is an improvement all around.

I believe the offroad is the only model that has a locking diff from the factory.

I don't understand why the offroad has chrome rear bumper pieces instead of black

I'm very happy with my limited4x4. I won't ever need rear locker. I love the firm seats and the position. I'm 5'8 and it hugs me perfectly when I sit on it. Unlike the second gen I had I always felt like I was to low.

I love my limited. I have none of the issues that others complain about....minus the hood separation, which is pretty minor issue in my book

Change your door unlock setting so when you open your door (auto unlock) all the doors unlock.

New poster here and have been lurking for some time. I picked up a Limited about a month ago and love it. I was looking for a more refined ride and won't be leaving the pavement much, if at all. Two issues I have and had; 1) transmission can be sluggish as it learns your driving behavior and 2) friggin' seal to the oil filter housing busted and caused a mess and upset customer. Dealership was on point fixing the latter.

    Edit: Grammer

I hope you have better luck with your limited than I've had with mine.
I bought my '16 double cab 4x4 limited on New Year's Eve and have put 8000 miles on it . It's been at the dealership 3 times trying to fix numerous issues , the worst of which is the transmission.
I have had a 2011 and 2012 Tacoma 4.0 and loved them both but I feel like Toyota seriously dropped the ball on the new motor / trans .
I'm waiting for my trd pro 4Runner to show up at the end of June to replace my limited .
    Good luck .

On a positive note I love the look of the new trucks and the new interior /jbl audio is a much needed upgrade .
If Toyota would have come up with a solution for the transmission overheating and constantly shifting I probably could have gotten used to the other irritants .
    I miss my 2011 dclb 4.0

To change from one door to all doors (unlocking with your hand touching the doo handle) go to
apps ---> vehicle ---> vehicle customization

    love my new limited!!!

I have had my Limited 4x4 since the middle of April. I love the truck. Granted it is my first truck (coming off of a highlander I traded in) but I have had no issues so far. It does get compliments wherever I go.
