    Huh...

    I’ve scrutinized the HDD cable connection and it doesnt look damaged. Maybe something internal to the ribbon.. It’s definitely not seeing the HDD.

    Edit: checked the Service Manual- you are correct in the keyboard backlight ‘guess’. :hattip:
