    Reserected from the dead.
Adjust your shift linkage. The shifter and ignition are tied together. Gonna have to crawl under there.

Resolved problem? Purchased a new bushing kit at Toy Dealer. Part # 90385-1103 $4.00 per set. Parts person said I needed a total of 4(two sets). Found vid by Mr. Cranky Pants 54(no kidding)on utube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Xp2nR8RlVQ Will update post install of bushings. .

First, a temporary go-a-round until you can get to it you may be able to simply move the shifter to the far right as you shift into Park to remove the key, this short term go around will probably not last long since these bushings are plastic. Oh, found a better URL. I followed it and removed the whole shifter to access both bolts and replace all four bushings. Careful there is a wire spring on a plastic clip in the shifter that I knock off and could not get back on correctly and had to order a replacement. Be sure to look at it closely or better yet take a picture so you will know how the spring goes on. The bolts have a 1/2 nut with a 5/16 head on the opposite side. The replacement was easy since the old bushings were destroyed and new ones dropped right in, used a little lock tight blue on the threads, and then snugged up the bolts as to not crack the new plastic bushings. Oh, be sure to replace the light bulb while doing this. Good luck. SEE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wilXhd2YR9Y
