Nice. Any chance you could post a few more overview/side profile pic's with the new tires?

Was there much of a fuel economy hit with those?

BFG look MUCH better than the GY. Kinda sad you had to replace tires on a brand new truck. Hope you were able to pawn off the other 3.

Any rubbing with the new tires? Think you could go any larger without modification?

Cool video. Those trails look fun. Are they on private property or is there just stuff like that on the side of highways out West? Maybe the state owns that land? If so do the authorities ever show up?

We don't have anything like that down here.. Everything is privately owned farm land or hunting land and if you try to go anywhere on state land they'll bitch at you.

Not to speak for OP but, about half of Arizona is accessible like that.

    Thanks OP for continued info

And about 80% of Utah and 50% of Colorado, MT, ID, OR, WA, NM, NV

A ton of National Forest or BLM land out here in the West. Look at a map sometime and you can see why we love our public land access out here! One big playground.

No rubbing with the tires but I've only had them on the street so far.

Just re-read your first posting, for the 4th time.

Thanks for all your efforts on our behalf. It is really nice to see the truck being put through it's paces, in the real world.

New tires really make the truck look incredible!

Mike - WTH? Toyota installs an "industry first" GoPro camera mount and you don't use it!

...You obviously have some video skill and know better. I was impressed how you stabilized those in-cab shots...very cool. Every time I see that damn mount I think of webpage banner ad or crap-ware that just happens to come with a new computer. Might be different if they actually ran USB power to the mount...I could see how that could be VERY useful and mod-able.

    Those look sick!
    Banner worthy!? @tcBob :)

I am a Tacoma noob...but I was confused early in the post regarding the suspension. It is "plush"? Don't most people say TRD is stiffer than other models?

New tires look way better than old one. For some reason, aggressive tires make the front end look tolerable to me.
