Best looking 2016 so far. Silver with the dark fender flares, and the wheels look great! No chrome bumpers.

Sad they stuck on a chrome front grill. Would have looked better being darker, to match the other darker accents.

And yes I "raced" the motor with less than 50 miles on it.

Very nice! I personally still can't get over that grill, but I love that Toyota has filled in a lot of the little "nice to have" things (like a bed light). How responsive is the new headunit/navigation? Looks like the same interface, but I assume upgraded internals. Does the map scroll/pan as fast as say, Google Maps on a smartphone?

Nav was something I ment to mention!
It seems already be outdated. The exit of the highway to the street that goes to our house is somewhat new, the street has ben there a long time. Even our iPhones didn't know it was there for the 1st few moths we were here but it does now. The Tacoma also didn't know about the exit/on ramp.

While headed to our friends house it had us get off 1 or 2 exits before their normal exit. Not sure why. It does scroll while driving, seems the same speed as my iPhone. The voice is a little different and she speaks a tad slower. Also it beeps once before she talks and twice just before you need to make a turn.

I personally love the grill and everyone who saw it today felt the same. To each his/her own :)

Sorry, I meant when you scroll/pan the map with your finger. Oops! Unfortunately maps going outdated is still a (stupid) way for manufacturers to get your money.

To be fair...I haven't seen one in person. And I have a 2014...so there's probably some case of the jellies rolling around in my head :D.

When you say watch mpg max out at steady throttle what sort of mpg were you seeing at 65-70mph?

Very nice OP. How about a few overview pic's of the entire outside of the truck. Your pic's are great, but please zoom out a little and add 2-3 more.

The truck is not getting 17 mpg while steady state at 65mph. Your pics show average not instant readings. What was the instant reading? It does have that function doesn't it?

I don't know what it was getting instantly.
