Thanks all. Been a while since an update but work and vacation got in the way.

I'm waiting on a new E-locker solenoid. It been on order for 2 weeks with no ETA.

Will get the frame mounted sliders mounted next week.

Where's the oil filter on the new engine? I love that my 08 has it right on top of the engine.

The scoop comes on all Sport models. This is an off road model.

That's a real bummer... then again, it's not like I'm not crawling under there to drain the oil anyway... so I guess it's not the worst thing in the world.

That's true, and you got a better location to take the filter off. I don't its a pain in my ass to get it off and back on again.

Your great write up and photos continue. Thanks for sharing.

If I recall correctly, didn't you have a low oil level / pressure? issue while going down a steep slope? If so, did Toyota solve the issue to your satisfaction ?

I did get a warning once on a steep downhill.
Was low level and they said it was normal at such a steep angle.

The crawl control will help you thru the spots you are having trouble with. set speed accordingly 1-5. noisy yet gets the job done with only steering needed. NICE TRUCK!!

I think the MGM is ugly. It shows off the rear lines too much and doesn't do it for me

I like all the new taco colors. All except white. Too much of an old man color. It's almost as bad as gold.

I don't care what the thing looks like in white. We live in socal where it's hot for 8 months out of the year and white is the most efficient color in the heat.

MGM looks just like a wet or dark road.

say, did they fix the problem you had with the Moonroof? and where did you get your LED interior lights? I'd like to get them too for the map lights...are they bright white?

Sunroof was fixed. It had loose bolts holding the track system in place.

LED's are from super bright LED's. There is a thread here somewhere with all the bulb sizes.
    Yes they are bright white.
