LoL. You said with very little throttle and on flat ground you can watch the mpg max out. How can you make that statement if you don't know what mpg you were getting?

mats, flaps, and stickers. Extang solid fold 2.0. Mobtown sliders and full skids. AVS vents
If it's anything like the wife's subby, there is a slider that moves left and right past the average indicating gains or losses in mpgs. Doesn't tell u what that number is though.

Edit: after looking at the pics, it appears you maxed at 30 mpg in the one pic.

Yes with little gas pedal it was maxed out, the same as it would be if you were coasting.
Give it a little more gas, it didn't down shift, and it went into the 16-17 range.

Not sure if the dial/slider bar shows instant or average. I assumed instant while the number displayed showed average. I dunno and it doesn't seem like a big deal.

Milage is not super high on my list of concerns.

Hard to tell from the pic but is the third brake light cover clear? Very Raptor-esque.

The one above the cab? It's shown in the last few pic's I posted. Just a bed light as far as I know. And yes, clear.

Edit: I see what you're saying. 16-17 mpg is shitty for an average, but if it can roll up to 30mpgs then that's a good sign! I can hyper-mile the shit out of it with the 6 speed.

    Nice write up.

as far as mpg, he stated the speeds as 70+,
While not mentioned, he has yet to burn a tank of gas. shows 93 miles.

My 06 with the 4L mpg improved after 5K.

I see it. Not used to seeing a bed light on a Tacoma just yet!

I like the look of the exterior and interior but those wheels look so weird. I would have to change them sooner or later. But nice truck though:thumbsup:

Since it is an OR it has AT Tires so the mileage will be a little bit lower, also if you are buying a truck, especially a 4x4 you shouldn't be worried about mileage. It's a truck, it isn't going to blow anyones minds regarding gas mileage stats. You want mileage, get a hybrid.
