Looks good, that sucks. Is it me or is that weird it rubs more with the spacers? :notsure:

That's my problem, you would think that if you put spacers on it would solve it. But I think it just rubs in a different area lol

It is normal. Wheel spacers increase the tire's arch while steering. The problem then isn't the cabmounts, it is the fender wells. My 285s are spaced, and barely rub at 3" of lift.

What's the width on your spacers/tires?? I have a 2.5" lift. That makes more sense now. I'll probably end up taking off the spacers

Good evening everybody, I like to join this thread. I do live in 92324. I also want to join your run but the problem is my Tacoma is only 4x2 so my truck might not go where your 4x4 can go. It is still stock, the only thing I've added is the tube steps. I like to attend some of your meetings so I can meet some new friends. Thanks

My tires are 285 width with 1.5" G2 spacers, but I am on stock wheels. The reason I have to run spacers is because the stock 16 and 17 inch rims on our Tacos lack enough backspacing to avoid rubbing the UCAs with a wider tire. Depending on the backspacing of your wheel or if you are stock wheels, you may need the spacers.

Welcome, from what I have heard the trails they took last trip where 2x4 friendly. A lot of guys only had 4x2 as well and had no issues.

    Yep! Needs are changing unfortunately.

I'm selling the Tacoma, buying a 5th Gen 4Runner (14-16). Not sure if I want to go new or save some cash for mods and buy used. Already have HUGE plans for that thing. Gonna be way better than my truck since I learned from my mistakes and am going to do everything right the first time this time.

Thanks! It's gonna be frustrating because I was just getting good with the truck! haha

I might still have the truck at the expo. Depends on if it sells. If it does, I'm gonna at least try to get the suspension, wheels and tires done on the runner before then.
