Many people I know install all those expensive light bars just to never turn them on in their lives. It's pathetic. If you want looks, get the housing lmao. Same as having a 600dll light bar and turn it on once a year.

Most of the guys on here unless running speed that most trucks can't handle will be happy with any of the cheaper bars. Look on eBay and such. I ran the Chinese knock-offs and then Rigids and now I'm running Baja Designs and couldn't be happier. They far out shine Rigid and the warranty is less hassle.

Rigid is over priced for me. If you have the cash, go for it. If you plan on dropping more cash on your truck I'd go with a cheaper brand and used the extra cash for some suspension parts. Just my .02

Are all light bar mounts of the same size the same? For example a 30" rigid and a 30" chinese light bar?

yes, although some have crappy little feet that bolt on. If you put tabs for one it'll work for the others

Headed to big bear Friday. Going to run Burns Canyon. If anyone is interested let me know. Probably hit the trail head around 11am.

Edit: figure since this thread is so close to where I live I should chime in more.

Glassworks short bed flat tops. Originally got them from another member on here 2-3 years ago in a package deal. Friend never mounted them and sold truck.

    $250

On the glassworks site, are they the mini or standard? 4.5 flare and 3" rise?
