Bee canyon is a nice easy trail. Shooting wasn’t allowed last time I went a moth or two ago because of fire hazard. You may want to check with the local forest ranger station to see if it’s open right now.

Yeah you should be fine. If you are starting at the bottom of the mountain just be careful of people on side by sides driving like maniacs. There is a couple climbs where you cant really fit more than one vehicle. Overall you should be fine

Bee canyon is closed for shooting, not sure if open for trucks yet.

    Wildomar should be open.

Hey everyone! I'm new to the Toyota world (unless you count my wife's 2019 Highlander, or the 1981 Corolla coupe that I was rockin' back in high school), having just traded in my 2010 Nissan Xterra 4x4 for a 2020 Tacoma TRD Off Road 4x4. Coming from the world of Nissans (where we get virtually NO aftermarket support), I must say that it's refreshing to have so many options for this platform. It's borderline overwhelming!

Anyway, my wife and I live in Murrieta, and we do quite a bit of camping and overlanding. I spent years getting our Xterra set up perfectly for our lifestyle, and it was hard to part with it. But I literally ran the wheels off of it, and it was time to upgrade to something newer and more reliable. We decided we wanted a truck, to move our RTT down lower (for ease of setup/tear-down), and it was really a no-brainer to move into a Tacoma.

I plan to keep my build pretty modest for a while, but it has been an expensive and nerve-wracking two weeks since I first parked this thing in my driveway. I already hacked up the front bumper and installed a BA winch-mount insert. I also installed a KB VooDoo mid-height bed rack and an Off-Grid Engineering dual-battery kit, and I have a Diamondback HD tonneau cover on the way. I also scored a set of Fox 2.5 shocks from a 2019 TRD Pro, with only 800 miles on them. I'm going to install the Westcott kit on the front coilovers, and I think I'm going to end up with a Headstrong progressive AAL in the rear. Like I said... keeping it modest for a while, but I just need it built up enough to get out and camp.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting some of the local Taco crowd and getting to know you all. Hope to see you around, and to hit some trails soon! Here's a photo of my now-gone Xterra, and my new soon-to-be trail beast.
