Inner Fender

Here is a picture of my front passenger side inner fender. The other side isn't like this, so I assume it isn't meant to be this way. I took lose all the grommets and bolts this evening but once putting back together it continues to pop out of the flare. Any ideas? I have my 10k service this Saturday, will most likely have this addressed as well as many other issues...

 

Did your tire throw a rock into it? Mine are getting beat up too. They are so thin, I cant wait to remove mine with snow chains throwing ice at them!

 

I have no idea what exactly happened. I just noticed it to be honest when washing it this evening. I'm not even to 10k miles for dear lord

 

Rocks, limbs off road debris are my guess. Mine look brand new still.

 

I haven't even done any "serious" wheeling. Just small trips to the farm.

 

Remove bolts from flare & slide liner back between flare & fender
