    The one they had at my local auto zone was all beat up and some threads were dinged so decided to just buy one.

    Also was not confident I could have it back in time.

    Yeah, the one I rented was a bit dinged up too, but it still got the job done.

    Now you can rent yours out to friends, lol. A pix pack seems to be the going rate for rental fees...

    I went through two kits before I went to advance and got their heavy duty kit. That one worked.

    Just got back from having OEM upper ball joints and inner tie rods replaced (both sides). I supplied both parts and my guy charged me $295 labor :mad:

    I told him that wasn't fair and expressed my thoughts, being that he charges $65 per hour, but goes with book rate

    i was under my truck yesterday in the front wiping down the sand and muddy puddle recently got splashed all over checking these parts out and wondering ... how the heck do these get taken off and put back on properly and safely for a DIYr, hopefully i have aways to go until they need it but who knows at the moment
    i don't think i can trust myself doing that sort of maintenance with no proper equipment & training
