Hello all, I got the front suspension worked on today on my 5 lug 2wd 1st gen. Got new bushings for strut and sway bar, new struts for rear and back and new control arms and ball joints. The mechanic changed out the outer tie rods but left in the old inner ones cause I didn’t have the boots or clamps and he said that the old ones had no play and we’re not leaking so I should be fine.
My question is do you think I should replace them anyways before I go and get an alignment tomorrow? Or just listen to the mechanic and return those new tie rods. I’m sure everything is stock and they have about 170k miles on em

    I don't like fixing what's not broke.
I'd take the word of the mechanic, over an unknown persons on the internet that has never seen the tie rods.
I'm going with leave well enough alone.
