    Hello,

I'm new to the forum, I tried searching for my answer but had no luck.

Couple months ago I let a friend of mine help pick out some modifications, I just wanted a slight lift to throw bigger tires under the truck. But when he purchased the tires he did not do a great job on the sizing, we had to cut a fair amount away. Now I reduced the tire size and every time I drive on the highway the wind pushes the wheel liner towards my tires and it rubs see below for visual detail

I want to add a bit of rigity to the liner so this stops... Or if ANYONE. Has a solution to fix it all then please tell me. I don't think ordering a factory liner would fit. B/c the tires are larger than factory still

    Any help is appreciated thanks

Drill some holes in the engine bay and liners and zip tie them snug.

Just curious what size tires did you have on there before?

I want something that's going to look factory, I mean you did answer the question haha and the tires I believe were 285/85/16 factory rims with 1.5" spacer and now they are 285 75/16, after I finish school I want to increase wheel size to 18 and go with a wider base rather than taller.

Some self tapping screws might look a little better.

I will look into that, I have to pull my wheels off soon anyway I'll look where I can screw it to that will still protect my fog lights and headlights... Never again will do HID's grommets that seal everything do not fit anymore

I was going to say self tappers or reusable plastic rivets (like the ones tha hold the mud flaps on) but there isn't really behind it to fasten to. Your best bet is probably to replace the entire liner along with the section that connects it to the plastic bumper cover. Shouldn't be too hard to find a used set...there is a guy on here that parts out totaled Tacoma's, I'd find him and shoot him a pm.
