Input shaft bearing - what would you do?

    Yeah I already changed throw out bearing and dropping tranny today to check the rest of the bearing might have to do a bearing kits just to make sure

    I started hearing a chirp recently and was getting some hard shifting so I changed the trans fluid and it felt perfect after a fluid change. I go to the car wash the next day and I notice its chirping really loud and really hard to shift into gears so I immediately start heading home since I am less than 5 minutes away and then something pops / breaks and I get no power to the wheels and metal grinding sounds when trying to drop the clutch... Thankfully was able to roll into the driveway. Will post an update once I get it towed in.

    Turns out my clutch blew up hahaha. I have to replace the throw out bearing, clutch, and flywheel.

    Yeah your description matches my experience when my clutch failed. You're lucky you were able to creep into your driveway. Mine died at a stop light with five cars behind me :crapstorm:
